Good stuff. Lots of action and suspense. Although rated PG-13, it’s still suitable for kids. Follows the book closely…from what Juli tells me. Juli will write more later on this review.

Not much to report so far…or that I care to share. It’s about 10:45 am and I have the rest of the week off. Not much in the line of plans but to put up some Christmas lights, blow-out the sprinkler lines, and watch some movies.

I headed down to the post office on the way to work Wednesday morning…that’s when the morning took a turn for the worse. Nothing really happened, although in my mind I like to think I verbally abused the mailman.
There were only two people in line…including me. There are about seven windows at this post office…and only one of them was open. The lady at the counter had several boxes, letters and envelopes to send out and I could tell this was going to take a while. But I stood in line like a mindless robot thinking that some other postal service representative would open another window. I saw other employees walking around, coming to the front, filling out forms and walking back out of the room.
So I waited. And waited. And…yeah, I waited. Ten minutes (and a conversation between the postal employee and the lady that was mailing every piece of mail she ever owned) later, I picked up my three pieces of mail and walked out. It was only at this time did the postal employee feel the need to ask if I needed something as I opened the door. What nerve.
I’ll keep it short and sweet. If you saw it…you’ll never forget it. If you didn’t…you missed out. I never thought I would see Jason Lee making love to a falcon…but I guess I was wrong.
And the countdown has begun at our house for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (the next movie release in the Harry Potter series). It’s debut will be this Friday, however I’m sure we’ll wait a little while before we see it (so we don’t get trappled by the masses). As everyone is well aware of, Juli is a major Harry Potter fanatic. It’s not so much that she’s in love with Harry Potter himself (although she does make me wear a cloak around the house…hum), but she loves all the characters, the story lines and suspense.
Even though she has already read the book (which came out sometime in February of this year…I think), she is still bouncing off the walls in anticipation of the movie release. It’s one thing to use your imagination while reading the book, but to see the story come alive on the silver-screen is another. Oh, and to relive it’s theatrical magic in the future…I’m sure we’ll be buying the DVD upon it’s release.
