Baby Boy McClure   |  December 26th, 2006

For those who haven’t heard yet, we’re having a boy! I think we’ve told just about everyone and wrote it in our Christmas letters, but I just want to be clear, we’re having a boy. Obviously I’m a bit excited about having a boy around to help even out the balance of our house.

Juli and I have a name picked out but we refuse to tell anyone. This is our little secret for the time being and we’ll be announcing the name at the time of his arrival which will be towards the end of April or the beginning of May.

We also have decided a the paint scheme for his room. I think we’re going with a light blue paint with a thin green and brown pin stripe in the middle. We also have some decorating ideas and plan on getting some awesome skateboards (vintage or new, maybe something like these skateboard kits) to decorate his room with. His crib and other furniture will probably be a darker wood (like this baby crib at Target), although that’s still in debate.

Our GraduateJuli graduated yesterday (Saturday) from Newman University with her Masters in Business Administration (with an emphasis in Leadership). We couldn’t be prouder of her in her moment of glory! She graduated with honors revceiving a 4.0 in every class! We had a party for her afterwards to celebrate in her honor. Take a peek at some of the photos. Way to go Juli! We love you. +1

Mikayla’s Star Student   |  December 11th, 2006

Mikayla has reached the all-coveted status of “Star Student” at school this week. For her posters she put photos of family and friends and put lots of stickers and color on them. Mikayla will be featured for the remainder of this week and have some show-and-tell time with her class telling them about her posters and photos.

Way to go Mikayla. We love you!
