While Scott and I were out of the office last week on a snowboard trip to Monarch, Colorado, the guys at our office (360ideas) thought it would be really funny to pull a prank on us.
They turned our office into a wintery ski slope complete with chairlifts, skiis, snow, and a warm fire. Check out these photos documenting their poor excuse for an office prank.
Mikayla and I took a trip to Monarch Mountain for a little snowboarding with a group of people from our Parish (St Francis of Assisi). Our group consisted of 34 people ranging in ability and age. We all had a great time. As the leader of the group, I put everything together for us…lift tickets, lodging, food, the bus, etc…
Take a peek at some of the photos of the trip. Most are of Mikayla on her snowboard. She did such an amazing job. She took lessons each morning. All of her instructors told me she has amazing balance and the ability to take instruction well. She is learning quickly. By the second day, she was cruising down the slopes without any physical support.
As the time draws near for our son to arrive, we are left with a few more items on our “Things To Do” list. However, as you’ll notice, we have marked off “Buy Baby Furniture”.
- Paint Baby’s Room
Buy Baby Furniture
- Decorate Baby’s Room
- Get Bigger Car
This morning we ordered a 3-in-1 crib and dresser from Target.com. We were waiting for the day to come when Target would put this stuff on sale…and today’s the day. Although the sale wasn’t anything major (by any means) it will cover the cost of tax (yes…tax. On internet orders. That’s lame I know. But since Target has a shipping warehouse located somewhere in northern Kansas, tax is unavoidable with them). The order will probably arrive within the next week (seeing how their warehouse is so close).
Next up, painting!
